Past crowdfunding campaigns have funded hands-on learning experiences, state-of-the-art classroom equipment, clinical assignments in rural and underserved communities, travel to academic and professional competitions and other initiatives that enrich student success.
How crowdfunding works
Crowdfunding allows members of the Missouri State community to share their stories, inspire support and raise funds for specific projects, programs and organizations. Donors can browse active campaigns, choose a project that resonates with them and make a gift of any size.
Every gift helps build momentum. By sharing projects with friends, family and networks, supporters can help expand awareness and increase impact.
All gifts are tax deductible and processed through the Missouri State University Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donors will receive a tax receipt upon completing their gift.
Funds raised through crowdfunding directly benefit the featured program, college or organization, ensuring support reaches the area it was intended to help.

Current Missouri State students, faculty and staff are invited to submit project proposals for consideration. Successful crowdfunding projects typically create meaningful opportunities for students, strengthen academic programs, support research, expand access to experiences or address a specific need within the Bear community.
