Academic support
Visit the Bear CLAW (Center for Learning and Writing) at the Meyer Library to sign
up for tutoring, study with your peers and get supplemental guidance from faculty
and staff.
Keep yourself accountable in your academics by meeting with an academic success coach or a peer mentor.
- Success coaches will help you become be better organized, meet deadlines, prioritize projects and manage your time to reach goals.
- Peer mentors are unbiased listeners who can help you find answers and share referral information.
Get suggestions on any writing assignment regardless of the course or topic. Workshop
creative writing assignments, speeches, presentations and more.
Advising and career guidance
Need help choosing a major? Walk through your academic choices with an academic advisor and attend the Majors Fair.
Connect with the Career Center to get assistance with your job search, résumé writing
and interview preparation. Services are available for all students and alumni.
Health and wellness services
Attend special workshops to improve your university life. Address a broad range of
concerns, like stress management, relationships, test-taking and time management.
Connect with professionals who can diagnose and treat psychological disorders and conditions. Services are available for adults and children.
Schedule an appointment and attend wellness events. Get quality health and preventive
care at minimum cost to the university community, ages 6 years and older.
