Nina Barudzic

Dr. Nina Barudzic
Director, Student Resource Center

The Director provides leadership and support for the establishment and achievement of retention initiatives, develops programs that serve the needs of students, and promotes academic enhancement efforts in support of the mission of the University.

Dr. Nina Barudzic completed her doctoral studies in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Bowling Green State University in May 2022. She is extremely passionate about diversity, creating inclusive and equitable spaces and advocating for marginalized students. She has over four years of experience working in Multicultural Affairs. She enjoys "teaching and working on challenging projects that push the needle for students' success."

When Dr. Barudzic has free time, she plays tennis and enjoys time with her family and friends.


Whitney Latture

Whitney Latture
Assistant Director, Student Resource Center

Whitney graduated with a master's in Communication Studies from Missouri State University. While earning her master's degree, she taught public speaking at Missouri State University and served as the Assistant to the Basic Course Director.

After teaching for two years, Whitney discovered that her greatest joy came from connecting students to resources and cultivating spaces where they felt seen, heard and valued. Her dedication to inclusive education was recognized early on when she was awarded the Inclusive Excellence in Teaching Award and later, the MSU Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award.

Now, as the Assistant Director, Whitney is committed to fostering a welcoming environment for all students and advocating for those who are historically underrepresented. In her free time, Whitney enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, reading, and coordinating weddings!

Abiya Gill
Graduate Assistant, Student Resource Center

Abiya Gill is a Graduate Assistant at Bear Cave at Missouri State University. She is pursuing a Master’s in Educational Technology and loves coming up with programs that help students connect, collaborate, and feel part of the campus community. Abiya really enjoys creative projects that bring people together.

Outside of work and academics, Abiya likes swimming, cooking, dancing, traveling to new places, and trying different cuisines. One fun fact about Abiya is that she never leaves home without a good playlist to get through the day.

Marianne Partin

Marianne Partin
Graduate Assistant, Student Resource Center

Marianne Partin is a Graduate Assistant who graduated with her Bachelor's in English Education here at Missouri State in the Spring of 2025. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in English Education as well. In this role, Marianne hopes to support programs focused on fostering welcoming, inclusive spaces where all students can thrive.

With a deep love for language, storytelling, and education, Marianne is passionate about helping students find their voice—both in and out of the classroom. She is especially committed to advocating for underrepresented students and building environments that reflect equity, belonging, and opportunity.

Outside of work and studies, you can usually find Marianne reading a good book, baking, or spending quality time with friends and family.
