Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute is a hands-on leadership development program designed to equip students with the skills, experience, and confidence to lead in different environments.
The Leadership Institute grew from student input and strong support from Student Government Association (SGA), ensuring the program reflects what Missouri State students need to lead, connect, and make an impact.
Students will:
- Participate in workshops (3) centered around the Public Affairs Mission
- Complete a series of projects/milestones following each session
- Upon completion of the program, students will earn a certificate, get a medallion, and have the opportunity to apply learned skills with a community organization

How to Apply
Application will be open from November 13th, 2025 and will close January 19th, 2026.
References
Three references are required for all applicants. The references must be received by January 26th.
