Complete our off-campus job listing form to post part-time or summer job opportunities on our website through December 2025. After that, we will fully transition to Handshake. Once you submit our off-campus job listing form, the Student Employment team will review your information and post the position for 30 days. |

Create an Account with Handshake
Follow these steps to get started:
- If you received an invite via email, follow the link to begin the account creation process.
- If you're signing up without an invite, visit Handshake's new employer registration page.
- Complete the information requested (enter email and set a password) and select Sign Up.
After you set up your account and confirm your email address, you will be prompted either to join your existing company profile (if you already use Handshake with other universities) or to create a new company profile.
Pending Approval to Join Company: All new Employer Users need to be approved by existing staff members in order to join a company profile on Handshake. Any existing staff members already connected to the company profile will be notified that a new user has requested access.

About this service
In order to offer this service without cost to the Springfield community, we are required to obtain hire information, including the name, pay rate, and average weekly hours worked of any Missouri State student you hire from this service. Failure to provide this hire information will result in future positions not being posted.
In good faith, we work only with employers who subscribe to the Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines adhered to by the University as previously stated on the main webpage. We reserve the right to review listings before publication to students and refuse service to employers for factors such as but not limited to, the following:
- Misrepresentation by dishonest information or absence of information
- Fraud
- Complaints by students
- Harassment of Missouri State University students or staff
- Breach of confidentiality
- Positions not likely of interest to college students
- Outlay of personal funding required to obtain the position
- Agencies, organizations, or individuals who solicit employment other than for their own needs
