Major in esports
Here are the steps and requirements you need to complete for the esports studies major.
Your first steps: Declare your major
There are no formal admission requirements for the esports studies major. Just be
admitted to Missouri State and declare esports studies as your major.
- Become a Bear: Apply to Missouri State (if you’re not already a current student).
- Before completing 60 credit hours, contact the Academic Advising and Transfer Center to declare or change your major to esports studies.
After you declare: Complete the program requirements
Complete these requirements to earn a bachelor's degree in esports studies.

Completing your minor
The esports studies major also requires you to pick a minor (or have a second major). A minor is a secondary area of study that supports your major.
There are many health-related minors available in the McQueary College of Health and Human Services.
