Accelerated BSN
On the fast-track to BSN
The accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) option is designed for students who already hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
You can use your previous degree to finish the BSN in an intensive, 15-month format as detailed in the sample schedule below.
Your actual schedule may vary depending on courses you've already completed. Your advisor can help you plan the right schedule to fulfill your BSN requirements.
Format: Admission is once a year, and classes begin in the fall semester
As you plan your classes and schedule, it's important to know:
- Admission into the accelerated BSN program only occurs once a year.
- The yearly cohort for the accelerated BSN always begins in the fall semester.
- A spring semester admission/start for the accelerated BSN is not possible due to the sequencing of courses.
How to apply
Follow the standard admission procedures for the BSN program, then apply through NursingCAS.
The accelerated BSN has a competitive admission process. Applying does not guarantee your admission.
