LOGOS AI Policy

As an undergraduate research journal, LOGOS is dedicated to publishing outstanding and authentically original work by undergraduates in every academic discipline, including original research, essays, creative writing, and artwork.

With that, LOGOS requires that all submissions and accepted pieces for publication are the original work of the author, and that the author’s final words or product were not created through the use of AI technology.

Please review the LOGOS Complete AI Policy to learn about our extended policy and requirements for submissions.

Submission Details

Please review the Submission Guidelines and follow the Submission Instructions to submit your work to LOGOS. As of Spring 2025, LOGOS is accepting submissions through an online form. Please fill out the form linked in the Submission Instructions tab above to submit to LOGOS Volume 19.

We accept multiple submissions from a single or multiple authors. But, we do not accept simultaneous submissions (i.e. submitting the same work to another publication at the same time).

LOGOS has a 20% acceptance rate since Volume 13. We are also EBSCOhost searchable. Since our first publication in 2008, articles from LOGOS have been cited at least 80 times in other publications.

If you have questions, please email us at logos@missouristate.edu. For more about what kinds of work we accept, see our Make page. Check out our Publish page to see previous copies of LOGOS.

After Submission

We will notify authors of the status of their submissions as soon as possible after review. This often happens in the summer. The submission may be accepted with no or minor revisions, recommended for revision and re-submission, or rejected.
