Scholarships and Financial Aid

As a student in the department of merchandising and fashion design you have many opportunities to receive financial assistance to support your studies at Missouri State University. Below is information about scholarship opportunities specific to students in fashion.

You may also qualify for University scholarships. The Office of Financial Aid provides information about University scholarships, grants and loans. Most scholarships at Missouri State University, including those designated for fashion and interior design students, require the submission of a completed MSU Annual Scholarship Application. Details about additional materials required are included in the descriptions below.

Association of Clothing and Textiles Scholarship

Selection criteria

Awarded annually to a student majoring in clothing, textiles and merchandising that has completed at least 32 hours with an overall GPA of 3.0.

Renewal criteria

This scholarship cannot be renewed. 

Fashion and Interior Design Scholarships

Selection criteria

There are currently no requirements for this scholarship other than being a student that is seeking a degree in either fashion or interior design.

Noel Allan Conrad Scholarship

Selection criteria

Awarded annually to a student properly enrolled full-time at Missouri State University. The student must be seeking a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Design. If a current student, the student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and if the student is an incoming freshman they must have a high school GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to those students with financial need.

Renewal criteria

This scholarship can be renewed, but students must reapply to be considered for renewal.
