Start a career in respiratory therapy
The respiratory therapy program works to prepare students to function as safe, competent and certified respiratory care practitioners.
This program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in respiratory therapy for students who have completed, or will complete, a registry-level program at an accredited respiratory therapy school, such as the ones at Ozarks Technical Community College or on Missouri State’s West Plains campus.
Once complete, you will be a certified registered respiratory therapist (RRT).
With an aging population, there’s a growing need for respiratory therapists. A degree in respiratory therapy can prepare you for employment at clinics, hospitals, nursing homes and more.
