Real Estate Track
This track option is being discontinued
The real estate track option and real estate minor are being discontinued effective fall 2018. Three courses required for the track option will be offered for the final time as follows:
- Fall 2018: FIN 367
- Spring 2019: FIN/LAW 368 and FIN 369
Only students who can complete those required courses based on their final scheduled offerings will be considered for program admission to the real estate track option during the spring and summer 2018. Contact your advisor or the Business Advisement Center for further information.
Building your résumé
Real estate is an appealing option for many students interested in finance. It is also a career field with very specific laws, regulations and principles that you will need to know in order to succeed. This degree program will ensure that you begin your career with the knowledge you will need.
Students who complete a degree in finance with an emphasis in real estate are well equipped to pursue a graduate degree in fields like business administration, finance, economics and other related fields.

Students who complete a degree in finance with an emphasis in real estate excel in career fields including:
- Corporate finance
- Personal financial planning
- Real estate (including appraisals, commercial sales, property management and residential brokerage)
