AAC apps for Adults
AAC is also provided for adult communication disorders. Among a few adult-based disorders to be named are Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Aphasia, Dysphagia, Dementia, Dysarthria, progressive diseases and other cognitive linguistic or motor impairments.

Stroke.org is a website that provides AAC for aphasia in the form of picture apps, text-to-speech apps, and other apps both free and costly.
