Does your unit have a website, blog or calendar?

You can become a web editor in two easy steps:

  1. Complete the required trainings
  2. Request to become an editor

Training courses

Our web editor training comes in 3 different flavors: blog, calendar and website.

Completion of the Web Accessibility Training is required for all editors.

In addition, system-specific training must be completed for the desired editor type:

Don't have access to Brightspace?

If you happen to be staff — rather than student or faculty — you might not have been added to Brightspace yet.

Contact Computer Services to request LMS access. Be sure to add in the Course Name field on the form - Web Editor Training Community_36.

Interested in becoming an editor for your website, blog or calendar?

Once you've completed the required trainings, submit the appropriate access request form to get started.

Website Editor

List the website(s) you'd like to become an editor for.

Website examples:

Input the appropriate website supervisor to be CC'd throughout this access request process.
A BearPass email is required to become an editor.

 

Calendar Editor
