Registering for Classes After SOAR
Our final SOAR session for students entering for the Spring 2021 semester will be held Wednesday, January 6.
If you did not attend SOAR, you may register for classes beginning Thursday, January 7 once you have completed the following steps.
- Meet with an academic advisor for your major. Contact the academic department of your major to be assigned with an academic advisor and schedule an appointment
to meet. If you have not selected a major, contact the Academic Advising and Transfer Center to schedule an advisor appointment.
- Complete a housing contract. (Exceptions to our housing policy exist, but must be approved by Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services BEFORE
class registration.)
- Remove any other registration holds that may exist. Visit the Holds link on the Registration tab of your My Missouri State portal to view any holds and contact information to request removal.
Before you begin class registration, email us at NewBears@MissouriState.edu. Include:
- Your full name
- Your BearPass number (for example, M01234567)
- A request to have your SOAR registration hold removed
We will process this request as soon as possible.
