Registration for the New Student Orientation sessions taking place in the summer (for
students attending summer school and for students starting classes in Fall 2027) opens
on December 15th.
First-time, admitted students who have fewer than 24 transferable credit hours earned
AFTER high school graduation are required to pay a $225.00 New Student Fee. Payment
of the New Student Fee serves as the student’s official acceptance of their offer
of admission and qualifies the student to register for a required New Student Orientation
program. Family members are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation with their
student but it is not required. The fee for family members to attend is $30 per family
member, up to two family members.

Change my New Student Orientation Date:
You cannot be registered for two New Student Orientation sessions at the same time.
If you need to change your session date, log back in to the New Student Orientation
registration portal ( https://futurebears.missouristate.edu/portal/new-student-orientation) and select the session you are currently registered for. Click the "Cancel Registration"
button to un-register yourself. Once you've cancelled your existing reservation, you'll
have the ability to register for a different date.
Please know that once you un-register for a session, that space will open up for someone
else. Be sure to check availability for other session dates before you un-register
yourself.
Adding a family member to your New Student Orientation reservation:
Log in to the New Student Orientation registration portal ( https://futurebears.missouristate.edu/portal/new-student-orientation) and select the session you are currently registered for. Click the “Edit Registration”
button to make changes to your reservation. Select the number of family members you
wish to register (only 2 can accompany the student) and fill out the required information. A $30 family member fee per family member
will be collected as part of registration.
