Quality care, free of charge

The mission of the Missouri State University Occupational Therapy Clinic is to improve the health and well-being of our local community members by improving participation in daily occupations and providing high-quality clinical education to MSU occupational therapy (OT) students.

Our clinic serves individuals across the lifespan who do not have access to occupational therapy services.

We’re deeply committed to our community and passionate about the power of occupational therapy to help people of all ages live life to the fullest!

Services

We can help you one-on-one or in a group setting.

The services we provide coincide with our students’ progression through the curriculum.

These services include: 

  • Individual adult sessions.
  • Individual pediatric sessions.
  • Caregiver wellness groups.
  • Adult motor control groups for individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, or other neurologic diagnoses.

Who we serve

Our clinic provides free services to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured.

This includes clients who have no insurance or have exhausted their occupational therapy benefits but still demonstrate potential for meaningful improvement.

Referral requirements

Before we can see you, we need a referral from your medical provider.

To receive services, we require a referral (order) from a licensed medical provider – such as a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant – whom you have seen within the past 12 months.

Referrals must be sent directly from the provider to us in one of the following ways:
