Board of certification examination

In order to work as a certified athletic trainer, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a degree from an athletic training program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
• Pass the Board of Certification (BOC) exam.

Historically, Missouri State students perform above the national average on the BOC exam.
