Facilities and Resources

Developing your craft

The athletic training program is housed in Ann Kampeter Health Sciences Hall.

A multi-million dollar overhaul of Kampeter has created new spaces and tools for future ATs.

Step into our new training lab

In January 2025, a renovated 1,300-square-foot space in Kampeter was unveiled for athletic training students.

The flexible design supports lecture, lab and skill practice in one location – allowing you to learn and apply your skills without leaving the room.

The space features state-of-the-art resources to enhance hands-on learning, including:

  • Diagnostic ultrasound
  • Rehabilitation supplies
  • Therapeutic modality equipment
  • Diagnostic tools

Beyond Kampeter, you will also gain experience in athletic training clinics and facilities across campus, throughout the Springfield community, and across the country expanding your learning into real-world environments.
