Receiving and delivery procedures
When packages are received, it is Central Receiving’s responsibility to ensure that the packages are not damaged. All package tracking numbers are logged into the searchable online receiving system. All packages must be signed for upon delivery to the Department.
Central Receiving can send out packages for UPS, FedEx or DHL if the following conditions are met:
- The item is properly packaged and ready to ship.
- There is a valid shipping label on the box.
- The package must be less than or equal to 75lbs.
Any packages sent from Central Receiving will go out with the regular delivery drivers. Anything that is time sensitive should not go through this department.
In order to check if a package has been received from UPS, FedEx, Amazon, or DHL, Central Receiving must be provided a valid tracking number.
