Op5.08-22 Scholarships for International Students

Incoming freshmen

International students who graduated from a U.S. high school may be considered for First-Year Undergraduate Scholarships. Graduates of non-U.S. high schools may be considered for the Go Mo State Scholarship (see below).

Transfer students

International students transferring from a U.S. community college may be considered for Transfer Student Scholarships.

Students transferring from partner institutions may qualify for the International Partners Fee Waiver program administered by the Office of International Services.

Students transferring from an institution outside of the U.S. may be considered for the Go Mo State Scholarship.

Go Mo State Scholarship

Eligible international students may be considered for the Go Mo State Scholarship based on academic merit. This scholarship covers the difference between the resident and nonresident tuition rates. After the scholarship is applied, recipients are assessed tuition at the Missouri resident rate.

Renewal criteria

Students must meet the University’s general Scholarship Enrollment and Renewal Standards to maintain eligibility. The Go Mo State Scholarship is renewable for up to four additional years following the initial year of the award, or until the student earns their first undergraduate degree, whichever occurs first, provided the student remains enrolled in an undergraduate program.

Graduate students

International students may be considered for the Missouri Outreach Graduate Opportunity (MOGO) Scholarship and Graduate Assistantships.
