Professional experience
Dr. McShan joined as a faculty member at Missouri State University (MSU) in 2022. Before joining MSU, Dr. McShan was a high school basketball and football coach in Canada. Dr. McShan has worked for organizations such as Football Canada, Duke University Men’s Basketball Camp, the Corporation of the City of Windsor, and Moorelands Kids. Dr. McShan is an active member of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity (NASPSPA) and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). Dr. McShan is the current Exercise Science Society (ESS) faculty advisor.
