We're located inside historic McDonald Arena. Here, you have access to state-of-the-art facilities. 

Apply the knowledge you're learning in the classroom to develop the skills you need for your career.

Perceptual-motor development lab

A 1,600 square-foot space used as practicum experience.

In this lab, you'll remedy psychomotor and academic readiness skills for younger, at-risk children.

Exercise and movement science labs

Student and teacher together in exercise and movement science lab.

Learn about the inner-workings of exercise and fitness. Our exercise and movement science (EMS) labs use different equipment and several rooms in McDonald Arena to educate you.

In KIN 210, you'll use the EMS labs to study anatomy, physiology and the biomechanics involved in physical fitness.

Adaptive physical education lab

Kinesiology student working with child in adaptive physical education lab.

Work with accessible equipment and provide instruction to those with disabilities. In KIN 468, you'll use this lab to work with clients from the Arc of the Ozarks who have developmental disabilities.

Kings Street Annex

Entrance into Kings Street Annex.

Home of the recreation, sport and park administration program. A short walk north from McDonald Arena.

Through community partnerships, RSPA students also study at places like Wonders of Wildlife, Springfield-Greene Country Park Board facilities and Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
