Guidelines for Section Leader Applicants

The following guidelines will be utilized for all section leader applicants:

Part 1 - Leadership Application 

Applications for leadership in Winds or Percussion Sections must be submitted no later than April 24.

Applications for leadership in Color Guard must be submitted no later than April 24.

You do not need to fill out multiple applications if you are applying for drum major and section leader.

Make certain that each section of your application is fully complete. We recommend you type your responses in a separate document, and then copy / paste your responses into the application.

Part 2 - Leadership Interviews 

All interviews will take place in Wehr Band Hall and will be conducted in small groups. Please treat this interview the same as you would a professional job interview. Dress professionally and be on time.

Winds & Percussion

Interviews will take place April 27-28. Applicants may begin signing up for an interview time on April 20.

Color Guard

Interviews will take place on April 29-30. Applicants may begin signing up for an interview time on April 20.

All leadership applicants are expected to attend the Drum Major Auditions on Thursday, April 30 from 2:00-4:00pm in the Wehr Band Hall Hoover Room.
