Molecular Biology Minor

The molecular biology minor provides an excellent supplement to the programs of chemistry, biology and biochemistry. If your future plans include a form of graduate study in the areas of cell and molecular biology, life science, genetic engineering, biomedicine, biotechnology or bioinformatics, then completing a minor in molecular biology would benefit you.

Minor requirements

To receive a minor in molecular biology, you must complete a total of 22 hours of coursework as outlined below:

Prerequisites are required for most of the courses in the molecular biology minor, and it is important that you meet with your advisor often to discuss coursework and your plan of study.
