A Day in the Life of a Bear

Kelly's day
5:40 a.m. - Woke up extra early to try a new fitness class with friends and teammates.
6-7 a.m. - We went to a spin class off campus!
7:30-8 a.m. - My friends and I decided on The Healthy Edge restaurant for breakfast. The Lucky Charms protein shake is so good!
8:15 a.m. - Went home to get ready for the day.
9:45 a.m. - Before getting started on homework, I grabbed a coffee at Einstein Bros. Bagels in Glass Hall. The vanilla cream cold brew with almond milk is the go-to for me. My friend Claire, a freshman on the swim team, joined me.
10:30 a.m. - Visited some friends working in the finance, economics and risk management (FERM) department and the international business offices.
11:30 a.m. - Back to Einstein’s for lunch! Today I used my dining dollars and went for a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese.
Noon - Went back to the FERM office to sign graduate assistantship paperwork. I’m starting the MBA program soon!
12:30 p.m. - Walked over to Missouri State’s birthday celebration on the North Mall near the PSU. I met our mascot, Boomer, won free prizes and snacked on popcorn.
1 p.m. - Went to the swimming and diving team lounge in Hammons Student Center where many of us study.
2:45 p.m. - Even though college swim is over for me now (I’m a senior and my last season just ended), I still stopped by practice just to say hi.
3 p.m. - Back to Glass Hall to study before class.
4 p.m. - Time for my only class of the day! I went upstairs for professional financial planning.
5:30 p.m. - Dinner at Heitz House Dining Center before my evening meetings.
6 p.m. - A friend invited me to attend a meeting with Missouri State Traditions Council. It was fun to see how other student organizations work together.
6:30 p.m. - At the library for a SAAC meeting. It’s a great way to meet people on Missouri State’s other athletic teams!
8:15 p.m. - My friends from SAAC study together at my apartment complex.
9:30 p.m. - I like to unwind by watching a movie with my roommates before bed.
