About Hanna

My name is Hanna. I received two B.A. degrees in Art History and Museum Studies, and a minor in history from Missouri State University. Although I am from St. Louis, Springfield has become home because of MSU and the surrounding community. MSU has so much to offer, and I am excited to share these opportunities with you. 

Favorite book

I love to read so this is a hard question. I have to mention The Tsar of Love and Techno by Anthony Marra, American Gods by Neil Gaiman and Pastoralia by George Saunders. 

Favorite place to eat in Springfield

Druff's for sure. I love grilled cheese.

Favorite thing about Missouri State?

I love Missouri State's involvement in community activities, with First Friday Art Walk as my favorite. It is a blast walking around galleries downtown, meeting up with friends and looking at art – especially at MSU's Brick City Galleries which sometimes showcase student work. I love getting to know the community and celebrating the creativity Springfield has to offer.
