There are two types of parking permits available. The re-positional permit and the sticker permit.

Display the permit on the lower left side of the windshield on the driver's side, above the inspection sticker.

Do not leave the permit on the dash.

How to use the permit

You can use the hangtag permit with another vehicle.  You may use the permit with another vehicle.

Do not sell, give away or loan your permit. You are responsible for any citations issued to a vehicle displaying your permit.

Persons who carpool can share the same permit. In the event of a violation, the parking violation will be charged to the permit owner, no matter who is driving.

If you forget your permit, you must request a temporary permit from Safety and Transportation on campus and display it in accordance with instructions. (See Temporary and Visitor Parking)

If your status changes and you no longer require a parking permit, you may be eligible for a refund on the unused period for which the permit was issued. The parking permit must be returned to Parking Administration before a refund can be initiated.
