My Learning Connection is Missouri State University's central online location and resource for all faculty, staff, and student employees to support their professional and personal development as a member of this institution. This site connects all educational resources and training opportunities for our employees to support them in their professional and personal development. Employees are able to participate in classroom, web base, and blended learning sessions to accomplish their development goals and meet organizational requirements.
My Learning Connection is a centralized library of all development opportunities available to employees that is searchable, designed to support specific learning plans, and accessible 24/7 for information and registration. Employees can view their own comprehensive training record to include historical data, courses they registered for, their training calendar, and courses they are interested in for future attendance. Human Resources Employee Development and Performance (EDP) serves as a central resource unit for administrators, faculty, and staff for their professional and personal development. The University recognizes the important role of continuing education and supports employee participation in University credit, noncredit, and Human Resources Employee Development and Performance (EDP) programs for both professional and personal growth. Our website is your connection to the University's professional and personal development opportunities provided by a variety of University units and training resources.
There are several categories of development provided to support the individual needs of our employees along with organizational requirements such as: Organizational Development; New Hire Orientation; Compliance Courses; Professional Development for Faculty and Staff; Computer and Technology; Job Skills; Emergency Response and Safety;and Fitness and Wellness. We also provide consultation and programming support for University units and employees to address specific development needs, support new mandated requirements, and address work-related training needs throughout the University. Faculty, staff and student employees can access their professional and personal development opportunities through the My Learning Connection site located under the Profile tab in the portal. Registration is completed online through My Learning Connection by selecting the name of the course and completing the registration information. Please check our site periodically for updates on new opportunities and dates for courses.
