Wilfred Adler Piano Scholarship
Student must be a music major with excellent potential for being a piano performer or teacher. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at sophomore level or higher, student must have maintained overall GPA of 2.5 and GPA of 3.0 in music.

Band Grant
Student must perform medium to difficult band music in an audition.

David Caudle Memorial Scholarship
Student must be an organist enrolled in one of the following "Applied Organ" classes: MUS 152, 252, 352, or 452.  Student must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (music majors) or 2.0 (non-music majors).

Tom Chaney Memorial Scholarship (for Music Majors)
Student must be a music major. Consideration will be given to musical aptitude and interest, high school performance and college potential as indicated by aptitude tests and leadership qualities.

Peter Collins Piano Scholarship
Student must be a piano major at the sophomore level or higher with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and a 3.0 in the major.

Robert Clinton Cope III - Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Scholarship
Student must be enrolled in a music class or have participated in a musical ensemble or other musical organization. Members of Phi Mu Alpha are NOT eligible. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have an overall GPA of 3.0.

Dawin Emanuel Vocal Scholarship
Student must be a vocal music major. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5.

Horatio and Lynne Farrar Scholarship Award*
Student must be a music major. Consideration is given to high school performance, college potential, and leadership qualities. 

Fite Concert Band Scholarship

Leslie R. Fite Brass / Woodwind Scholarship
Student must be a music major. Consideration is given to both academic aptitude and musical performance on brass and/or woodwind instrument(s). 

Lowell K. Fleenor Memorial Music Scholarship*
Student must be a music major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, first priority is given for graduates of West Plains, MO High School; second priority for graduates of Houston, MO High School; and third priority for graduates of Salem, MO High School. When awarded to a student enrolled at sophomore level or higher, he/she must have an overall GPA of at least 3.0.

Friends of Music Scholarship
Student must be an outstanding junior music major.

Bob and Virginia Herb Voice
Student must be a music major at the sophomore level or higher and have maintained an overall 2.5 GPA.

Henrietta Keller Music Education Scholarship Endowment
Student must be enrolled as an undergraduate music education major or graduate student in music. When awarded to a graduate student, student must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 and enroll in least at least 3 hours each semester. When awarded to an undergraduate student, student must maintain an overall GPA of 2.5.

Kiefer-Young Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a music major. Scholarship is awarded to two piano students and one organ student each year.

George H. Klinkerfuss Scholarship
Student must be an incoming freshman who is a talented string player.

James Libby Memorial Scholarship*
Student must be an oboe or bassoon student enrolled in at least one credit hour of private lessons each semester. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained a GPA of 3.0. 

Emil & Doris C. Lorz Scholarship Award
Student must be a junior or senior music major with at least 20 hours of music course work completed and have an overall GPA of at least 3.5. Student must also have completed coursework in foreign language and theatre.

Daucey Hill Martin Scholarship
Student must be an outstanding piano major.

Norma and Tom McClellan Music Education Scholarship
Student must be a junior or senior music education major (vocal) with an overall GPA of 3.0. 

Mel Bay Guitar Scholarship
Student must be a guitar student. When awarded to student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5 and/or a GPA of at least 2.5 in music.

Jane A. Meyer Organ Scholarship
Student must be enrolled at the sophomore level or higher with an overall GPA of at least 2.5. Student will study organ as a secondary area of music performance and must have adequate keyboard skills as determined by the keyboard faculty. 

Wayne and Melba Miller Band Scholarship
Student must be a member of the Missouri State bands program.

Mollie Autry Molnar Scholarship
Student must be a music major enrolled at the sophomore level or higher with an overall GPA of 3.0.

Mollie Autry Molnar Travel Assistance Award
Student must be a member of a touring choir.

Louis Y. and Frances Muchnick Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a music major in string performance. When awarded to an incoming freshman, the student must audition for the string faculty. If awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and audition for the Music Department's scholarship committee.

Student must be an entering freshman or transfer student.

Music Talent Award
Student must participate in a musical ensemble.

Napier Family Scholarship*
Student must be a musical theatre, violin, or cello performance major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5.

Opera Workshop Scholarship
Student must be a music major and an outstanding participant in Opera Workshop.

Rose Mary Owens Singing Scholarship*
Student must be a senior and have given service to the music department by participation as a soloist in such activities as the opera productions, musicals, convocations, concerto/aria concert and other mediums utilizing solo singers.

John & Karen Prescott Composition Scholarship
Student must be a music major enrolled in a composition course. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5.

Presser Foundation Scholarship Award
Student must be an outstanding junior or senior music major. 

Garland and Lavella Reynolds Endowment Fund
Student must be a music or horticulture major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential, and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 2.75. When awarded to a student enrolled at the graduate level, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.5.

N. Meredith Rich Memorial Scholarship*
Student must be a music major, have completed at least 54 hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and be involved in campus and community activities and demonstrate leadership in these areas. Student must show a strong interest in pursuing a career in music or teaching in a field related to music.

Mary Sanford, William N. and Bill Palen Low Brass Scholarship
Student must be a music or music education major and play a low brass instrument.  When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5 and a GPA of at least 2.5 in music courses. 

Schupbach Voice Scholarship
Student must be a music major enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, have maintained an overall GPA of 3.0, and must exhibit excellence in the area of voice.

Robert and Alice Scott Scholarship
Student must be a graduate student enrolled in the Master of Music Program who has selected the Conducting or Music Education area of concentration.  Preference will be given to students who are pursuing careers as an educator in the field of instrumental music.

Claude T. Smith Composition Contest Scholarship
Student must be in high school and submit an original composition. Selection is based on the performance of the work in a concert. Student must be enrolled as a full-time student at Missouri State and will receive scholarship in the freshman year.

Albert L. Verweire Scholarship
Student must be a senior flute player music major have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5 and a GPA of at least 2.5 in music.

Margaret Corbin Vogel Voice Scholarship
Student must be a vocal music major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential, and vocal performance abilities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5.

Richard P. Wellock Scholarship Award*
Student must be a music major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration is given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, consideration is given to music ability, overall GPA of at least 2.5, and leadership qualities.

William T. White Strings Scholarship
Student must be an undergraduate or graduate music major who is a string player. One of the scholarships will always be awarded to a violinist. Student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5 if an undergraduate or 3.0 if a graduate student.

Maria Content Wise Memorial Scholarship*
Student must demonstrate good piano skills and have studied piano previously. Preference will be given to non-music majors.
