College of Humanities & Public Affairs General Scholarship
Student must be a freshman with a minimum of 15 credit hours or sophomore with a minimum of 45 credit hours and be enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.25. Preference will be given to a student who exhibits a record of service, leadership, and qualities consistent with the goal of the public affairs mission.
J.C. and Sara Edna Young Endowed Scholarship
Student must be a graduate of Mountain Grove High School or Cabool High School during the donor's life time. For exceptional candidates or should this endowed resource exceed the needs, the geographical range of applicants may be extended to Wright and/or Texas Counties of Missouri. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to a student who exhibits a record of service and leadership evidenced by participation in such areas as Student Government, an officer of a service organization or captain of a varsity athletic team. Financial need is considered.
