Financial Aid 

College of Arts and Letters

Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time students (undergraduate is 12 credit hours and graduate is 9 credit hours). Contact the College office directly for specific application and deadline information.

David O.  & Susan Belcher Graduate Scholarship

Student must be a graduate student in the College of Arts and Letters. When awarded to an incoming graduate student, he/she must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5. When awarded to a student already enrolled in the program, he/she must have maintained 3.5 GPA. Recipients need not enroll full-time.

O. Franklin Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship

Student must be majoring in a program in the College of Arts and Letters and have demonstrated exceptional performance in their academic field.

Winnie Lawrence Clark Memorial Scholarship*

Student must be junior level or higher pursuing a B.S. in Education in English, or Speech and Theatre with an overall GPA of 2.75. Financial need is considered.

Out-of-State Fee Waiver for the Performing Arts

Student must be a non-resident with outstanding performance ability in art, design, forensics, music, theatre or dance.

*Indicates that student must have a FAFSA on file by March 31st to be considered for this award.
