The move-in process

Moving to Missouri State will be a week-long process, Aug. 9-16. Move-in times will be assigned with less than 500 student check-ins a day.

Additional measures including physical distancing and other procedures will be in place. Move-in day and time scheduling will occur in mid-July. Students should check their MSU email for additional information.

Move-in assistance limited

Move-in assistance will be limited to one person for each student.

Each August, our Bear Crew of students, faculty, and staff, welcomes Bears to campus and helps them move their belongings into their residence halls.

We will not use Bear Crew this year to increase physical distancing and safety for our residents, their families and our staff.

How to move in

Bring your photo ID to campus. Masks will be required for students and family members, based on Springfield ordinance.

Come to Lot 39, located just south of Kentwood Hall off of Walnut Street. At that time, you will receive the keys to your room and access card to your building. We will ask COVID-19 screening questions.

You will then be able to proceed to your building where we ask that you unload within the hour time slot provided. Then, please be sure to move your car to a designated parking lot to allow other families the ability to unload near their building.

Dining

Dining options will begin Aug. 9 for those assigned to move in. Meal bands will be provided at check-in to use Aug. 9-13. University meal plans will begin August 14, when students will use their BearPass Card. Meal times will be posted in each lobby.
