Join those who value service and want to make the world a better place to live.

What is ROTC?

Army ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) is more than just a college elective— it’s one of the nation’s premier leadership development programs, designed to prepare college students to become officers in the United States Army. Through a combination of classroom instruction, physical training, and hands-on leadership experience, students build the skills, confidence, and discipline necessary to lead at the highest levels.

While earning your college degree, you will simultaneously fulfill the requirements to become a commissioned officer. The program challenges you to go beyond the typical college experience, offering unmatched opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Upon graduation, you’ll earn both your diploma and a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. You’ll have the opportunity to serve on Active Duty, or in the U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard—leading and making a difference in the lives of others from day one.
