Scholarships
A college education is one of the most meaningful investments a student can make in their future, but for many students, the cost can also be one of the greatest barriers
Scholarships help open doors
Through the generosity of private support, Missouri State students can pursue their education, discover new opportunities and focus on achieving their goals with greater confidence and support. Your gifts make these life-changing opportunities possible.
Each scholarship represents more than financial assistance. It represents encouragement, belief and investment in a student’s potential. Scholarship support can help reduce financial stress, lessen student loan debt and allow students to spend more time engaged in academics, leadership opportunities and campus life.
Since 1981, the Missouri State Foundation has awarded more than $61,804,401 in scholarship support to students pursuing their dreams at Missouri State.
Every scholarship gift creates opportunity. Whether supporting a university-wide scholarship fund, a college or department scholarship or establishing a named scholarship in honor of a loved one, donors play a direct role in helping students succeed.
By supporting scholarships, you are investing in future teachers, business leaders, health care professionals, artists, scientists and changemakers who will go on to strengthen their communities.
Your generosity helps ensure talented and promising students can become Bears, regardless of their financial circumstances.
