The Founders Club
The Founders Club is Missouri State University's premier lifetime donor recognition society, honoring individuals, families, businesses, foundations and organizations whose philanthropy strengthens the university and creates opportunities for students.
Established in 1983, The Founders Club recognizes the visionary spirit of H.B. McDaniel and Senator Frank M. McDavid, whose leadership helped secure Springfield as the home of Missouri State Normal School No. 4, now Missouri State University.
Today, Founders Club members continue that legacy through significant investments that advance scholarships, academic programs, athletics, student experiences, facilities and other university priorities. Their generosity helps ensure Missouri State remains a place where students can learn, grow and achieve their goals.
Membership
Membership in The Founders Club is extended to individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations that make a minimum commitment of $10,000 to the Missouri State University Foundation through cash, securities, real estate or other personal property.
Membership is also available to those who make a planned gift of at least $10,000 through a bequest, trust, life-income agreement or other approved deferred-giving arrangement.
Founders Club Medallions
Members whose cumulative giving exceeds the minimum membership level are recognized through the Founders Club Medallion Program.
