General Principles of Title IX at Missouri State University

A Title IX investigation is an impartial, fact-finding process.

We adhere to the following general principles at all times:

The Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Decision Maker(s) are conflict- and bias-free.
Complainants and Respondents are treated fairly and equitably.
Complainants and Respondents are free from stereotype attribution.
Respondents are presumed not responsible for the alleged conduct until a determination of responsibility is made at the conclusion of the Grievance process.
