  1. Apply to MSU Doctor of Audiology Program during the Seventh Semester.
  2. Receive admission decision during the Eighth Semester.
  3. If admitted, Eighth Semester courses will count toward both undergraduate and graduate degree.

*MTH 136 is STRONGLY recommended for the Audiology pathway.

**One science choice must include a lab or overall total of Life Science and Physical Science must be minimum 7 credit hours. Specific elective hours needed may vary depending on choices made in general education and transfer work. Students may select any courses of their choosing as lectives

Major Admission Requirements:

  1. Have at least a 3.0 GPA on all coursework attempted at Missouri State University.
  2. Completion of a minimum of 50 hours of credit, which includes the following:
    1. Chemistry or Physics
    2. Biology or Biomedical Sciences
    3. College math (MTH 134 or higher)

Information to keep in mind:

  • All students need a minimum of 120 total hours to complete a degree.
  • Most CSD courses are offered once a year (the semester in which they appear on the plan).
  • "GEC" is not a course code, but a reference to a gneral education category from which students can choose a course from a list of options.
  • CSD majors CANNOT take PHY 101 or BIO 100 to meet major requirements.
  • CSD major courses CANNOT be taken more than twice.
