Physical Therapy Faculty Scholarship


Number of scholarships and value dependent on the availability of funding, but awards are generally $250 - $500.


Complete the MSU Annual Scholarship Application by March 1.

Selection criteria

Awarded annually to a full-time physical therapy student that demonstrates positive leadership qualities, professional behavior, and involvement in activities related to the profession. Student must be a second year student with a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

Renewal criteria

This scholarship cannot be renewed. 

Mrs. Adedute Oladehin Memorial Scholarship

Selection criteria

A student is to be selected that has completed their first year in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program, for awarding the final two years of the program. The student must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Student should demonstrate financial need, leadership, professional behavior, community service, and involvement in activities related to physical therapy. Student must submit an essay discussing their community involvement. The scholarship shall be $2,500 annually. No exceptions. When the full $2,500 is not available, the scholarship will not be awarded. Scholarship is automatically renewable for one additional year as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.

Renewal criteria

This scholarship is renewed automatically. Automatically renewed as long as funding is available to allow a student to receive the scholarship for a maximum of 2 years. The student must maintain satisfactory academic progress to automatically renew.
