We provide on-campus, pro bono physical therapy services – including evaluations, assessments and specialty care – for the Springfield community.

Using the clinic provides a lower cost for Missouri State students, employees and their dependents.

Ask your referring physician about receiving care at the Missouri State Physical Therapy Clinic, where:

  • The fees are less than half of most clinics around town.
  • You'll have access to front-door parking.
  • MSU employees whose assigned work location is on the Springfield campus will not be required to use sick time.
  • Full-time employees who carry the MO State University health insurance will have their deductible waived.

For MSU employees, MO State University insurance for staff/faculty pays 80% of the billed charges. That’s great value – our charges are much lower than what most physical therapy clinics charge in the Springfield metropolitan area.

How we operate

Our clinic provides specialty care and rehabilitation services for spine and joint injuries as well as other neuromusculoskeletal issues.

Equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of experienced physical therapists, the clinic offers progressive care and gentle guidance toward recovery.

Posture and spine programs

Posture assessment and spine reshaping programs help spine pain patients recover more rapidly and more completely from injury and disability.

Joint care

Joint care is promoted with the latest treatment techniques. Joint rehabilitation is achieved and monitored using the latest technology.

Balance and vestibular problems

Balance and vestibular problems are assessed and treated by skilled clinicians. They specialized tests and testing equipment that reveal information not otherwise available to physical therapists and doctors.

Pelvic Health

Pelvic health conditions are assessed and treated by skilled clinicians with specialized training in pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, pregnancy and postpartum care, and bladder and bowel concerns.

Pediatrics

Pediatric conditions are assessed and treated by skilled clinicians with specialized training in developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and movement-related concerns in infants, children, and adolescents.

Prosthetics

Individuals with limb loss are assessed and treated by skilled clinicians with specialized training in prosthetic rehabilitation to improve mobility, function, balance, and independence.
