Join University Ambassadors

We are excited you are interested in being one of the first friendly faces to welcome students to our campus. We hope to see your application!

How do I join?

Recruitment will take place in the Fall 2025 semester. We encourage prospective Ambassadors to:

  • Attend one of the information sessions listed below, if possible, AND
  • Submit an application through Microsoft Forms by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 19th. Note that you will have to be logged into your Missouri State account to access the application.

What are the requirements to join?

You must apply and be selected. Applicants are required to have:

  • A full-time undergraduate status
  • Completed at least 24 hours at Missouri State by May 2026 
  • At least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Note that Resident Assistants are not eligible to join University Ambassadors

Dates to keep in mind

  • August 17, 2025 – Visit our table at the Student Organization Festival from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Great Southern Bank Arena Concourse
  • September 19th, 2025 – Applications due
  • September 22nd, 2025 – Applicants will be notified of their interview times
  • September 31st - October 1st, 2025 – Interview sessions conducted
  • October 6th, 2025 – Applicants will be notified of the selection committee’s decisions
  • October 31st, 2025 – Hiring paperwork must be completed
  • November 9th, 2025 – Ambassador Training Retreat
  • February 1st, 2026 – Ambassador Training Mini-Retreat
