Join University Ambassadors

We are excited you are interested in being one of the first friendly faces to welcome students to our campus. We hope to see your application!

How do I join?

Recruitment will take place in the Fall 2026 semester. We encourage prospective Ambassadors to:

• Attend one of the information sessions listed below, if possible, AND
• Submit an application by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 18th.

Applicant requirements

To apply and possibly be selected, you must:

• Be a full-time undergraduate student and have completed 24 credit hours by Spring 2027
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50
• Be eligible to work in the state of Missouri at Missouri State University
• Attend monthly meetings on Thursdays at 4:00 p.m.
• Attend mandatory training retreats coordinated by the New Member Liaison

When’s the next information session?

• Monday, August 24th
• Thursday September 3rd
• Wednesday, September 9th
• Tuesday, September 15th

Dates to keep in mind

• September 18th, 2026 – Applications due
• September 23rd, 2026 – Applicants will be notified of their interview times
• September 28th–30th, 2026 – Interview sessions conducted
• October 7th, 2026 – Applicants will be notified of the selection committee’s decisions
• October 30th, 2026 – Hiring paperwork must be completed
• November 15th, 2026 – Ambassador Training Retreat
