Nurses working in public health now have a new way to validate their knowledge and demonstrate the value of their work. The Certified in Public Health Nursing (CPHN) recognition establishes a consistent standard for public health nursing practice and validates the knowledge and skills required to work effectively at the intersection of nursing and public health. The CPHN application portal is now open for the first-ever CPHN exam cohort for testing in fall 2026.
