GENERAL FUNCTION
The Associate Dean, Graduate College provides assistance to the Dean, Graduate College in supporting graduate education and research.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A doctoral degree is required.
Experience: At least five years of university graduate-level teaching or administration is required.
Skills: Experience with Enterprise CRM (customer relations management) software for program marketing is required. A record of inclusive conduct and evidence of multicultural skills in the workplace is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with education of international students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The specific duties and responsibilities of the Associate Dean, Graduate College are assigned by the Dean, Graduate College and support the College’s role in the University’s long-range plan. The Associate Dean is primarily responsible for marketing and recruitment, supporting student and program success, and planning and offering graduate student events. The Associate Dean also represents the Graduate College on university committees and in the community.
SUPERVISION
The Associate Dean, Graduate College is supervised by the Dean, Graduate College and supervises faculty and staff of the college as prescribed by the Dean, Graduate College.
