Get Certified with Brightspace through the FCTL

If you're new to Brightspace or would like a walkthrough of the basics, Brightspace Guided Training will get you up to speed on all the features you will use most often as an instructor. This self-paced training program includes instructional videos and step-by-step walkthroughs to assist you in familiarizing yourself with the platform. This training is available to all faculty members by default in within Brightspace, and is recommended for all first-time and inexperienced users. 

Locate and Complete Brightspace Guided Training

Brightspace Guided Training is available on the institutional navigation bar when you first login to Brightspace. 

Within Brightspace Guided Training, faculty have the opportunity to access three different modules: Communication, Content, and Assessment. Faculty who fully complete all three of these modules successfully will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning.
