The following submission deadlines are approximate and subject to change based on
unforeseen delays, council or committee review, appeals, challenges, or other process
adjustments. The Curriculog deadline listed below for each proposal type is unlikely
to change, as it reflects the final allowable submission date for that proposal type
within the current curriculum year.
Faculty must plan proposal submissions with sufficient time for academic unit leader
approval and dean review, as well as council/screening committee agenda placement,
all of which occur before the meeting dates listed below.
Course changes must be fully approved and posted on a disposition prior to March 1st to guarantee a Fall 2026 implementation, ahead of the opening of registration. After
March 1st, updates to courses that may impact the Fall 2026 schedule will be implemented as
of Spring 2027.
Submission Deadlines for Proposals
New, change, and delete course proposals must be on the College Council agenda no
later than the April meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after March 24th.
New and delete program proposals must be on the College Council agenda no later than
the March meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after February 19th.
Change program proposals must be on the College Council agenda no later than the April
meeting. This proposal type for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after March 24th.
New and delete course proposals must be on the College Council agenda no later than
the February meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after January 24th.
Change course proposals must be on the College Council agenda no later than the March
meeting. This proposal type for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after February 19th.
New, change, and delete course proposals must be on the Graduate Council Screening
agenda no later than the March meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after February 22nd.
New and delete program proposals must be on the Graduate Council Screening agenda
no later than the February meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after February 1st.
Change program proposals must be on the Graduate Council Screening agenda no later

Undergraduate
New and delete program proposals must be on the EPPC Screening Committee agenda no
later than the February meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after February 8th.
New, change, and delete course and change program proposals must be on the EPPC Screening Committee agenda no later
than the March meeting. These proposal types for the current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available
for submission in Curriculog after March 1st.
Graduate
All graduate course or program proposals must be on the EPPC Screening Committee agenda
no later than the January meeting. These proposal types (new/change/delete course, new/change/delete program) for the
current 25-26 curriculum year will no longer be available for submission in Curriculog
after December 18th.
Effective Term Determination for Implementation
Effective terms, as outlined below, are subject to change at the discretion of the
Director of Curriculum Planning & Management. The disposition will note the effective term decision for each specific proposal.

The fall schedule is posted on February 1st for students and advisors to begin planning for fall registration that begins late
March. Any change course proposal that will affect the fall schedule must be fully
approved on a disposition by March 1st. Change course proposals not approved by this deadline will take effect in Spring
2027 to ensure students are not adversely impacted and to uphold the University’s
catalog year policy. All other proposal types are typically effective as of fall.
