MoState Student Summit

Missouri State prides itself as a Public Affairs institution as well as its development of students who utilize the three pillars of ethical leadership, cultural competence and community engagement to guide their advancement as citizen leaders. Multicultural Programs strives to build a stronger, more cultural competent, inclusive and progressive community at Missouri State University by promoting initiatives focused on student growth and development as well as the exploration of identity and self.

The #MoStateStudentSummit was created to serve as a collaboration between Multicultural Programs and Diversity and Inclusion to engage undergraduate and graduate students in deeper involvement with the campus Collaborative Diversity Conference. The summit allows students to take on the roles as presenters and provide an interactive and transformative forum for participants to engage in critical discourse around issues of social justice and make steps towards social change.
