Each year, the College of Business hosts its COB Career Fair to foster connections between students and employers. The career day is an excellent opportunity for you to talk with recruiters, learn more about careers in accounting and hand out your résumé for potential job openings and internships.
The 2012 COB Career Day integrated what was formerly our Accounting Career Day with the COB Career Fair for an even more rewarding and valuable experience for our accounting students. Feedback from some of the 83 businesses and 549 students that registered and attended was extremely positive, and the event was definitely deemed a success! This fall, the COB Career Fair will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the University Plaza Convention Center, with times yet to be determined. COB classes will be dismissed during the time frame so students may freely attend the event.
Students wishing to attend the Career Fair MUST register for one of the Preparation Workshops offered by the MSU Career Center. These workshops cover resume' development, dressing for success, and career fair preparation topics.
Please check the MSU Career Center website link for the COB Career Fair to register for one of these classes. Questions? Contact Kimberly Lucas at 417-836-5636 or via e-mail to KimberlyLucas@MissouriState.edu.
