Severe Weather Plan for Bear Line Passengers

When a severe weather warning (i.e. tornado, straight line winds, etc.) is issued by the National Weather Service, the shuttle operator will proceed to the shelter nearest to the next shuttle stop on the route.

The shuttle operator will announce the nature of the threat to the passengers and they will be immediately transported to the nearest shelter.

Passengers may disembark at anytime on the route if they so choose but the  departure must not compromise the safety of others on the shuttle.

Once the shuttle has reached the nearest shelter location, the operator will instruct the passengers where to seek shelter.  When the evacuation is complete, the operator will also secure the vehicle and seek shelter until the danger has passed.
