Technology Requirements 

The Department of Kinesiology recognizes the need to stay abreast of the latest developments and utilization of technology in our program areas. Therefore, students will utilize technology in their coursework that will prepare them for future careers as well as graduate school.  Non-majors are NOT expected to purchase an iPad, but are required to have access to one for the duration of the course. 

The following is the minimum technology requirement for students in the degree programs of Physical Education, Exercise and Movement Science, Recreation, Sport and Park Administration and Health Promotion and Wellness Management. As technology continues to advance we will update our requirements, so please check back periodically. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Generation 2 or above iPad with at least 16G memory 
  • No data plan is necessary as MSU is a wifi campus
