About Web Search

Missouri State Web Search scans the entire Missouri State website and returns relevant, publicly accessible websites and web pages that match the search terms.

Websites that are included in Web Search are those with the missouristate.edu domain and those on Campus Link and www.missouristatebears.com.

What are site index results?

Results that appear in the gray, site index box located at the top of the results list in Web Search are those that match websites in the university’s site index (the alphabetical list of websites).

How do I filter Web Search results?

You may filter Web Search results by website by completing the following steps:

  1. Click on the maroon “All web sites” link at the top of the Web Search results list. When you select the link, a drop-down box will appear.
  2. Type the website address you wish to search into the box.
  3. When you type a website address into the box and hit enter, Web Search will filter the results to only display those from the website you listed.
