An EAB Presidential Experience Lab webinar, state and federal advocacy strategy meetings, board and committee meetings for Springfield City Utilities and United Way of the Ozarks, a COVID-19 planning and response meeting with campus leaders, a meeting with the West Plains Chancellor search committee, the welding program dedication in West Plains, a meeting with candidates for Springfield SGA president and vice president, the university’s United Way campaign celebratory luncheon, a meeting with the MDHEWD assistant commissioner for postsecondary policy, the university’s multicultural graduation ceremony, CBHE committee and regular meetings, and Bears and Lady Bears home basketball games highlight the weeks of Monday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 12 for Missouri State University President Clif Smart.

Monday, Nov. 29 – Tuesday, Nov. 30

President Smart will attend an EAB Presidential Experience Lab webinar titled Disruption in Our Midst.

Monday, Nov. 29

President Smart will attend a meeting with the leadership team of Andy’s Frozen Custard. He will also meet with the university’s federal government relations consultants.

Tuesday, Nov. 30

President Smart will join other community leaders for a meeting to discuss healthcare in our community. He will also attend a board committee meeting for Springfield City Utilities.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

President Smart will meet with the university’s academic and administrative leadership teams to discuss COVID-19 responses and strategies. He will also meet with the West Plains Chancellor search committee and speak at the dedication for the West Plains campus welding program.

Thursday, Dec. 2

President Smart will attend Good Morning, Springfield! He will also meet with a leadership ticket running for election as president and vice president of SGA. That afternoon, President Smart will attend a Springfield City Utilities board meeting.

Friday, Dec. 3

President Smart will meet with the university’s state government relations team for a legislative planning meeting. He will also speak at the university’s United Way campaign celebratory luncheon. President Smart will also meet with Mara Woody, assistant commissioner for postsecondary policy at MDHEWD, and attend a United Way of the Ozarks board meeting.

Saturday, Dec. 4

President Smart will attend the university’s multicultural graduation ceremony and reception. He will also attend the Bears home basketball game against Brigham Young University.

Monday, Dec. 6

President Smart will host the university community for a holiday open house in Plaster Student Union.

Tuesday, Dec. 7

President Smart will attend Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education committee meetings. That evening he will attend a reception with members of the Coordinating Board.

Wednesday, Dec. 8

President Smart will attend the CBHE regular meeting. He will also attend a strategic enrollment management meeting, a United Way of the Ozarks executive committee meeting, and the MSU Foundation’s holiday reception.

Thursday, Dec. 9

President Smart will join other community leaders for a Community Leadership Forum meeting. He will also attend a signing ceremony for an MOU with Springfield Public Schools. That evening he will attend a holiday reception on the West Plains campus.

Friday, Dec. 10

President Smart will attend the Lady Bears home basketball game against the University of Missouri.

Saturday, Dec. 11

President Smart will attend the Bears home basketball game against Oral Robert University.

Sunday, Dec. 12

President Smart will host guests from the community for a holiday reception in his home.
